Raghunath's career began with a Masters in Mathematics from IIT Delhi, followed by diverse roles in software development, customer support, sales, and marketing. His tenure at HCL Technologies as a recruiter and later as the head of the Talent Acquisition function significantly shaped his perspective on recruitment. This experience underscored the importance of a structured and ethical approach to hiring.

Foundation of Spectrum Consulting

In 2004, Raghunath founded Spectrum Consulting to create a transparent framework for recruitment. Over the years, he developed world-class Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume parsers, continually advocating for the use of technology and social media, particularly LinkedIn, in talent acquisition.

Creation of Fail-Safe Hiring

The pandemic provided Raghunath with the opportunity to consolidate his extensive knowledge into the book "Fail-Safe Hiring," published in early 2021. The success of this book led to the establishment of Fail-Safe Hiring, a company dedicated to professionalizing recruitment through education, tools, and ethical standards.
